WOOD TYPES

Below are samples of our most commonly used wood types. However, we can construct any item out of any desired wood variety.

Sanded -vs- Sandblasted:
We offer varying levels of distressing according to your taste. Sanded products will have a smooth finish. The sanding will expose the grain of the wood and the pattern will be very visible once the stain is applied. Sanding removes some of the rustic character of the reclaimed wood and provides a more refined, finished look. Sandblasted products will have a rough appearance. The sandblasting eats into the softer sections of wood creating a weathered, more rustic look. A heavy or light sandblasting can be preformed as requested.
