HARDWARE & IRONWORK Our catalog of hardware and ironwork options is a collection of items we've found that compliment our products best at an affordable price to our clients. We are constantly expanding our selection to provide more choices. All of our ironwork is hand-forged by Rob Detlaff of Melrose Ironworks, who lives just down river from us. He can create anything with metal. So if you don't see something to your liking let us know. Rob can make what ever you need, just as you wish. Our door hardware is supplied by Emtek Products. Emtek provides quality hardware at a reasonable price. Founded in 1981, Emtek has earned a reputation of reliability and integrity of design. Emtek locks have heavy-duty mechanisms designed to provide trouble free service. Their handles and rosettes are forged, not cast or stamped. The generous thickness and weight of forged parts gives a solid look and feel that compliment our door styles perfectly. We order our hardware to match our ironwork with a flat black finish. We find the final product looks best and more authentic when all the hardware, ironwork and hinges have the same patina. If you would prefer your hardware to not be finished in flat black please let us know and we can order your hardware in a different patina. If you want your ironwork to match your door hardware there will be an extra charge and we will try our best to match the ironwork patina as closely as possible to the hardware patina. Remember - All hardware and ironwork is ordered standard with a flat black patina unless requested otherwise.
